Madeline Moore Summer Camp Grant Up to $600 for a child with behavioral health challenges Register* Login * Registration is limited to Behavioral Health Providers only. About Since 1998, the Dept. of Behavioral Health has provided the Madeline Moore grant to allow children with a behavioral health diagnosis to attend summer camp. Each eligible child can receive a grant of up to $600.00 to attend a participating summer camp. Parents If you have a child with behavioral health challenges, please contact your child’s behavioral health provider to submit an application. Eligibility A child must be a Philadelphia resident with an Axis I diagnosis currently receiving publicly funded mental health and/or behavioral health services (paid for by Community Behavioral Health or The Office of Mental Health) through the summer. Not Eligible The following children who receive certain services are NOT ELIGIBLE for the grant: Children who have intellectual disability and receive Family Driven Support Services (FDSS) funded through IDS Children who attend an RTF or are in Therapeutic Foster Care (paid for by CBH). These children should be receiving 24 hour programming through their residential program Children who attend a day/summer Partial Hospital Program (PHP) Children who receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services are only eligible for the grant if receiving MH services throughout the summer or are monitored by the SBBH program throughout the summer Children who participate in Family-Based Services are only eligible for the grant if Family Support Services (FSS) funding is not available for the child This grant is not an entitlement.
