On-Site Critical Care

In association with the John F. Kennedy Community Mental Health Center, DBHIDS offers a 24-hour Mobile Emergency Team to assist Philadelphia residents, their families and agency providers with behavioral health emergencies.

 

This experienced, highly-trained Mobile Emergency Team provides a wide range of critical care services, including:

• Transporting citizens with acute behavioral health problems to crisis response centers
• Assisting families unable to get to crisis response centers on their own
• Assisting with involuntary mental health commitments
• Responding to student behavioral health emergencies at city public/parochial schools, assisting with involuntary commitments when parents are unavailable
