An Engaged, Collaborative Path to Recovery The Group Facilitation Skills (GFS) Training is a FREE training opportunity designed to help develop and enrich group facilitation skills. In an active learning environment, participants discuss basic group facilitation tools and techniques, explore facilitator roles and develop new listening skills. We also discuss decision-making and conflict resolution skills, and how to apply Transformation Principles to diverse groups. In addition, participants have an opportunity to network and exchange resources, as well as to learn about various transformation initiatives within the behavioral health system. Group Facilitation Skills Training is presented on a regular basis for DBHIDS staff, service providers and persons in recovery.
