Evaluation and treatment services provided at a licensed facility to persons who can benefit from psychotherapy and substance use/abuse education. Services are provided in regularly scheduled treatment sessions for a maximum of 5 hours per week by qualified D&A treatment staff.
This is the process of transforming the traditional partial hospitalization program to a more recovery-oriented program. This is done by incorporating various psychiatric rehabilitation approaches to the traditional treatment model. The overall goal of the transformation process is to promote and encourage community integration, peer culture, family inclusion, and recovery planning.
The process whereby a drug or alcohol-intoxicated or dependent client is assisted through the period of time necessary to eliminate (by metabolic or other means) the presence of the intoxicating substance or dependency factors, while keeping the physiological or psychological risks to the client at a minimum. This process should also include efforts to motivate and support the client to seek formal treatment after the detoxification process.
When services are completed or terminated with a particular treatment provider.
