Drop-In Centers

A Safe, Supportive Environment

Drop-In Centers provide a safe social environment for people in recovery.  People can obtain information about services in the community, participate in social activities, seek help for their recovery and find resources to meet daily challenges.

Drop in Centers/ Consumer Centers offer people with serious mental illnesses a warm and friendly place to "drop in," meet other people and participate in social, educational and vocational activities. Several Drop-In Center staff are people in recovery, making them especially sensitive to the needs of those dealing with mental health issues and the challenges of recovery. They often use their unique perspective and personal recovery stories to give support to their peers.
